Boštjan Videmšek is a war and crisis corresponder for biggest Slovenian daily DELO. Since 1998 he has reported from all major gobal conflict areas: Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, DR Congo, Sudan, Iraq, Palestine and tsunami in Southeastren Asia. For last couple of years he is focusing on the consequences of financial crisis in Europe, immigration and developments in the Middle East. His work has been published in New York Times, International Herald Tribune, BBC News,... He is a three-time winner of European Commision Journalist award for "the fight against discrimination" and nominee for a European journalist of the year. He won the most prestigious Slovenian jouranlist award in 2011. His new book Revolt: Arab Spring & European fall has just beeen published in his native Slovenia.
